Coronavirus Update

As off Monday 14th September we must insist that you wear a mask into the building to the point your temperature is taken.

If you are showing symptoms such as a high temperature , a new, continuous cough or a loss of sense of smell and/or taste we must ask you to stay away, get tested and come back when you have the all clear.

Every member and guest must report to the bar area for temperature check and to check in, this will help with any track and trace process, any member or guest that doesn't follow this procedure will be asked to leave and have their membership suspended.

Following the Government's announcement that social gatherings of more than six people will be banned in England from 14th September, the Government has confirmed that organised sports, fitness and leisure activities that have been through COVID-secure protocols can continue, as can organised outdoor sports and physical activity events.

People can continue to use our leisure facilities, including gym, sports and classes within our venue as they are now. The new rule does mean that people should not arrive at Baypoint socially in groups of more than six.

Baypoint Club have stringent plans in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19, and we are classed as COVID-secure, given the measures we have introduced.

As with all our measures we don't want to meet the minimum standard but increase our COVID-secure status by introducing additional measure to keep our staff, members and customers safe.

Classes are categorised as organised sport, so these will still go ahead, the limit on numbers will be as they have been throughout September, the measures we have put in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 class Baypoint as COVID-secure.

When visiting the gym, please ensure you do the following:

- Wear a mask
- Temperature check at reception
- Check in
- Wipe down gym equipment after use
- Wipe down gym mats after use
- Use a sweat towel while working out
