Baypoint Club Invests For The Winter

As Baypoint Club emerges out of lockdown, safely welcoming more and more visitors to our facility each week, we have invested in the site as we approach the winter season.

In order to enhance our first-class experience, we have invested in brand-new lights for our eight-a-side 3G pitch. Our four eleven-a-side pitches will also be upgraded in the upcoming weeks to ensure our outdoor playing experience is as good as it possibly can be.

Now, more than ever, the importance of safe, physical activity is vital, therefore we have made these investments in Baypoint Club for both the short and long-term benefits of our members and those in the local community.

We’re not stopping there either. Coming soon, we will be revamping our men’s showers with our sports hall walls, floor and lighting being improved quickly after.

This investment will enable us to welcome more visitors and guests with QR readers now in place to ensure our gym and lounge is available to members only.

Baypoint Club Director, Leon Friend is looking forward to seeing these developments unfold as the facility looks to meet its vision to serve the local community.

“I’m really pleased we’ve been able to make these improvements to Baypoint Club. We know how important it is to offer a space that is safe for people to enjoy sport and be physically active. Good health has never been so important which is why it is imperative that a multi-sport site like ours delivers what is required for local people.”

“We have big plans for the future and a bold investment plan for the next five years to upgrade the complex to be the best multi-sport venue in Kent. We have to get over these difficult times but with the support we’ve received so far, we have a lot to be optimistic about.”
